I have quite a few really soiled Battle Tag Vests that I want to get clean. In the past I have used carpet cleaner and/or mould remover to get out some really stubborn grime, but I am thinking that it would be great if I could just throw the vest (with sensors removed!) into the washer and get a clean, fresh vest out the other side!
Has anyone got this problem or tried this out? Any ideas of what problems might crop up - I don't know if the nickel plated sensor contacts will corrode or if the water will cause other problems.
I plan to try this out today - I guess I will put into onto a gentle, cool cycle and then let it dry out in a dehumidified room If you have any ideas on this - please let me know!
