I was thinking of a potentially cool game mode... it would basically be like rustlers... but only one Tbase would be used to collect the resources (like a gold mine). You could have multiple teams, all attempting to scan the designated Tbase (1, as it's common, so you could have multiple mines if you wanted), and you have to scan it and get it back to your base to deposit the points. Like rustlers, anyone can scan it (opposed to CFT, where only one person can carry the flag at a time). When you scan the base, it fills your energy up to max (perhaps a configurable option), and if you're shot, the energy is depleted per hit. You can think of it as they drop the gold if they got shot. Since it would be a single Tbase, it would have a sort of king of the hill feel to it, since you'd be fighting over the same resources. You could setup multiples of the "mine" Tbase at different locations so you can move them around for larger groups so it's not so crowded. Victory could be set either to a time limit, or to whomever collects the set amount of resources first... or if possible, say there's a set amount of resources to collect, and once they're all gone, the team that collected the most wins. Not sure if there's a game mode that does anything like that, so it might not be as simple as a time or number reached win scenario.
